House Committee

2012

Mission:
The SHYC House Committee is responsible for ensuring the general atmosphere of the clubhouse and that its operation accurately and positively reflects the wishes of the majority of the membership. The Clubhouse must provide a place for meeting, dining, and relaxing in a congenial atmosphere that fosters making new friends, sharing, learning more about boating and having a good time.

The House Committee has the ongoing/continuing responsibility in support of the General Manager to:

Ascertain the opinions of the various constituencies of the club to ensure that the clubhouse operation delivers the highest level of satisfaction to all members and families.

Make recommendations to the Board of Directors to enhance the overall experience for all members.

Annually review and revise the House Rules by taking appropriate action as required. Ensure that the House Rules are consistently applied to all situations.
