The 11th annual Red Lobdell Memorial Regatta will be held on Saturday, August 11, starting at 11:00 a.m. off the Stonington harbor breakwater. The regatta is open to boats 20 feet in length and longer. There will be Cruising Canvas, Spinnaker, multihull, and J/24 classes (additional one design fleets presenting five or more entries will be given a separate class), with awards in each. The regatta is an Eastern Connecticut Sailing Association points event. An after race shore party is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. at SHYC. Visitor Information The Stonington Harbor Yacht Club would like to welcome the racers to our club. SHYC's mission is to foster a spirit of excellence in boating activities in our membership and the community. Competitors are welcome to use all of the SHYC facilities.
